Cleary Gottlieb was counsel to Edenred in the negotiation of its new €700 million syndicated revolving credit facility agreement with a 5-year maturity, signed on April 25, 2013.
The facility was arranged by Barclays, BNP Paribas, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, Citigroup Global Markets, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Groupe Crédit Mutuel CIC (acting through Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel & Crédit Industriel et Commercial), HSBC France, and Natixis; the bank syndicate was composed of the mandated lead arrangers and the following seven additional banks: Bayerische Landesbank, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, DNB, ING Belgium, Succursale France, Banco Santander, ITAU BBA International and Intesa Sanpaolo – Succursale de Paris.
This new facility refinances several existing bilateral credit facilities and will be used for general corporate purposes.
