Cleary Gottlieb Wins Three 2019 IFLR Americas Awards

Cleary Gottlieb has won three International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Americas Awards.

This is the second year in a row that the firm has won three IFLR awards. Cleary was recognized with the following matter and team accolades:

• Debt and Equity-Linked Deal of the Year for our role advising on Mexican Ministry of Finance and Mexico City Airport Trust (MEXCAT) tender offers and consent solicitations. The offers received the overwhelming support from MEXCAT’s noteholders and mark an important achievement in the Mexican government’s relationship with stakeholders and future infrastructure development.
• Financial Services Regulatory Team of the Year
• Restructuring Deal of the Year for serving as lead international counsel to Oi Group in its judicial reorganization, the largest private sector restructuring in the history of Latin America. This matter has also won the 2019 Latin Lawyer “Restructuring Deal of the Year” award.

The IFLR Americas awards ceremony celebrates the most “legally innovative” cross-border Americas transactions, and the individuals, teams, and firms that advised on them.
