“At Cleary, we work with clients on their most complex restructuring needs. “Attracting another leading U.S. restructuring lawyer with deep expertise, stellar relationships, and hands-on experience in many of the highest profile Chapter 11 cases in recent times highlights the quality and strength of our U.S. practice,” said Sean O’Neal, leader of the U.S. restructuring practice.
In recent years, Josh advised a variety of lenders on out-of-court restructuring and liability management transactions such as AMC Entertainment and Elevate Textiles. He also advised ad hoc groups of lenders on in-court restructurings across industries, including the Chapter 11 cases of Joann’s Stores, Endo Pharma, and others.
“Cleary has one of the most highly recognized restructuring practices in the world, known for the excellence they deliver for clients even in the most complicated of cases,” said Josh. “It is the combination of that excellence and the firm’s culture of collaboration that drew me to join. I’m looking forward to working with the team here to continue to grow the practice.”
Prior to joining Cleary, Josh worked at another international law firm in New York. He earned his J.D. with distinction from Hofstra University School of Law.
