Cleary Gottlieb is counsel to long-time client Air Liquide, a leading producer and supplier of industrial gases and related products, in its announced acquisition of Airgas, the largest U.S. distributor of industrial medical and specialty gases and hardgoods. The transaction, which has a total enterprise value of $13.4 billion, will create the world’s largest supplier of industrial gases.
