AdvanSix to Acquire U.S. Amines

Cleary Gottlieb is representing AdvanSix Inc. (ASIX) in its acquisition of U.S. Amines Limited (U.S. Amines) and its subsidiaries.

The transaction, which was announced on February 18, 2022, is expected to close in the first fiscal quarter of 2022.

U.S. Amines is a leading North American producer of alkyl and specialty amines serving high-value end markets such as agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. U.S. Amines employs approximately 50 people in the United States at manufacturing locations in Bucks, Alabama, and Portsmouth, Virginia.

Headquartered in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, ASIX is a fully integrated manufacturer of nylon 6 resin, chemical intermediates, and ammonium sulfate fertilizer.
