Cleary Gottlieb’s New York office hosted pre-moot preparatory sessions for the annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Day.

The event featured student teams from the universities of Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster working with Cleary lawyers on moot arbitration scenarios.

Cleary partner Ari D. MacKinnon, senior attorney Ezequiel Sanchez Herrera, and associates Katie Gonzalez and Philippa Ratzki facilitated the workshop sessions on oral advocacy in international arbitration. The lawyers guided the students as they pleaded their arbitration cases against each other over two rounds.
