Cleary Gottlieb Celebrates 25 Years in Mexico City

Cleary Gottlieb hosted its annual client event on November 17, 2016, in celebration of 25 years of connecting with our clients and friends in Mexico City, Mexico.

John Heilemann, managing editor of Bloomberg Politics and host of Bloomberg TV and MSNBC’s With All Due Respect, delivered a keynote address regarding the outlook of business and politics following the results of the 2016 U.S. presidential election. He discussed questions such as “What does the U.S. election mean for Mexico and for global business and financial markets generally?” and “Do the U.S. presidential campaign and other recent election or referendum results (such as the UK’s Brexit vote) signal a withdrawal from globalization?”

The session was followed by a reception with over 250 guests from international and Mexico-based companies, leading financial institutions, and local law firms.
