The Prospectus Regulation: Getting Ready for the Count-Down

Starting from July 21, 2019, the so-called Prospectus Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2017/1129) will be applicable in full and will replace in its entirety the previous rules on prospectuses to be published when securities are offered to the public or admitted to trading on regulated markets. The new Prospectus Regulation introduces significant changes aimed at meeting the demands of market participants to facilitate access to capital markets and to make markets more efficient. During the meeting we discussed some of the most significant changes and highlighted the potential impacts on issuers, with the participation of Paola Fico from Borsa Italiana S.p.A.
