Cleary Gottlieb associate Katie Gonzalez participated in the 2025 California International Arbitration Week, hosted by the California Lawyers association.
Katie spoke on the panel, “High Stakes, High Tensions: Resolving Construction and Energy Disputes Across Asia and Latin America – From Blueprint to Award,” which addressed the implications of geopolitical initiatives such as the U.S.-driven Build Back Better World (B3W) and China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the growing impact of political instability, and the ongoing effects of supply chain disruptions on the legal landscape in both regions.
