Cleary Gottlieb partners Matthew Slater and Jonathan Blackman participated in the 3rd Annual GAR Live BITs conference.
Matt served as co-chair for the event, and Jonathan Blackman participated in a panel discussion titled “Corruption defence to investment treaty claims – a diversionary tactic or effective shield?” which explored the emergence, and evolution, of corruption and illegality in investment treaty claims.
