2018 HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules Roadshow

Cleary Gottlieb partner Christopher Moore led a roundtable discussion with a panel of international arbitration experts on the new 2018 HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules.

The panel considered through a case study the Rules’ new provisions on effective and efficient management of multi-party and multi-contract disputes, as well as the other notable key features of the new Rules. The panel also discussed the latest trends coming out of Hong Kong and Asia, including an update on China’s Belt & Road Initiative and Hong Kong’s role in dispute resolution involving Chinese and foreign parties, as well as recent developments at HKIAC relevant to such disputes.
