Telenet in €175 Million New Debt Issuance

Cleary Gottlieb is representing its client Telenet International Finance, a subsidiary of Telenet Group Holding, in a new debt issuance under its existing credit facility. Telenet International Finance S.à r.l. will issue a new €175 million floating rate term loan under its existing credit facility. BNP Paribas acts as sole bookrunner of this transaction.
The transaction was announced on February 8, 2012.
Cleary has represented Telenet in a series of secured finance and debt capital markets transactions in 2009, 2010 and 2011, including by the extension of maturities of its existing credit facility by a series of structured institutional notes offerings pursuant to which stand-alone special purpose vehicles issued an aggregate amount of €1.3 billion notes and lent the proceeds thereof to the Telenet group of companies, in capacity as lender under the existing credit facility. The bonds were listed on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
Telenet, which is listed on Euronext Brussels, is the largest cable television operator in Belgium.
