Matteo Beretta Wins LegalCommunity Energy 2023 Regulatory Antitrust Lawyer of the Year Award

Cleary Gottlieb partner Matteo Beretta was named Regulatory Antitrust Lawyer of the Year at the 2023 LegalCommunity Energy Awards, held in Milan on January 26.

The nomination panel noted that Matteo has represented, with his team, many of the most relevant energy companies in Italy in regulatory matters. In particular, he represented a long-standing client on all antitrust and regulatory aspects related to complex transaction.

LegalCommunity is an online magazine covering the Italian legal market. The final awards for each category were determined by a panel of the general counsel of leading Italian and international energy companies.
