Cleary Gottlieb Wins Best IPO at Japan Achievement Awards 2016/2017

Cleary Gottlieb has been honored by FinanceAsia’s Japan Achievement Awards 2016/2017 for our firm’s role in advising on one of the largest technology IPOs in 2016.

Cleary has received an award in the “Best IPO” category for our representation of Line Corporation in its $1.3 billion initial public offering, which was dual listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

FinanceAsia awards “institutions and deal makers that have led the way in skillful cross-border deal-making.” The 2016/2017 winners will be recognized at a reception in Tokyo in July 2017.
